Our elementary students have been learning about the leaves, apples and pumpkins and how they grow from seeds, and all the other beauty of our environment as we turn the calendar to fall. Our partners at Up Yonda Farm and the Adirondack Experience provide our students with exciting opportunities to appreciate the history of our region and a better understanding of our natural world. The PTO Fall Best program offered some great hands-on experiences right here in the building. Outing Club students also took a great hike and gained a new perspective of their own backyard. We enjoy watching our students have a good time making memories with their teachers, classmates and hosts. Whether it’s in the classroom, out in the forest, on the farm, or at the museum, our students are learning not only about the world around them, but also how they are a part of it!
