As the 2023 – 2024 school year was winding down, our 4th grade class worked hard to the very last day! Planet reports were finished up and presented to the class. Students needed to create and present a slideshow to their classmates and Mr. Andrejkovics. Being well-versed in creating a slideshow and presenting information while being comfortable with technology is such a foundation building skill that we’re sure our students will use time and again.
The final 4th grade field trip was a great experience as the group traveled from Bolton Central School to Albany for the day. Retired School Counselor, Mr. Showers, was honored to join the group and share his knowledge. Our young learners toured and learned about the New York State Capital building. From appreciating the architecture, to getting a first-hand look at the building that has been at the center of New York state infrastructure for over a century, the visit was full of historical detail.
These experiences can nurture a lifelong interest in learning about the world around us; even the universe!
