Bolton Central School PTO’s Fall B.E.S.T. program started this week! B.E.S.T., which stands for Bolton Extra Special Time, is an educational enrichment program open to all students in grades K-6. The PTO is very excited to be able to offer the BEST program this fall but due to the current situation, the program is being conducted differently.
All of our BEST participants remained with their classmates and participated in predetermined programs. Each program was run by a school staff member and held in each child’s classroom where they were seated at their regular daily seat with their own materials. This week’s activities had our students outside participating in a community clean up, making pipe cleaner superhero figures, pine cone feeders for our bird friends, getting to play outdoor games and do some art collage work while building their favorite kind of burger.
All COVID guidelines that are in place during the school day to ensure everyone’s safety were maintained in all of our afterschool activities.
