What is a buzzer beater you ask? Ask Jacoby! Or tune in to NEWS10 ABC Albany for the morning and evening news on Wednesday, February 7! News10’s Anchor Giuliana Bruno and Photographer/Editor Nick Montera stopped by to talk to Jacoby, his teammate Jaxon, Coach Carlson and Jacoby’s Mom. They talked about how wonderful the moment was when a player on the opposing team handed Jacoby the ball, Jacoby took the shot and landed an awesome buzzer beater!
If you are still wondering, a buzzer beater is a shot scored just as the clock expires at the end of a period of play, especially one at the end of a game resulting in a win for the shooter's team. In this case, being able to witness this kindness and great sportsmanship firsthand was a win for everyone on the court and in attendance! Way to go Jacoby!
