It may still feel like summer but the 2023 football season starts on Saturday, August 19th and the rest of our fall season sports begin practices starting on Monday, August 21st! Our student athletes are dedicated to the athletic contests they choose to be a part of. The promotion of participation and a level of fairness expected of athletes are experiences that support competitors in becoming the most supportive and respectful individual and team player one can be.
With that in mind, the best way to support a student athlete and their teammates is to consistently be a supportive spectator. NYSPHSAA (New York State Public High School Athletic Association) has approved a policy for spectator sportsmanship. The policy can be reviewed here:

NYSPHSAA supports and encourages spectators to enjoy the competition between our student-athletes and cheer for their teams in a positive manner. Spectators should “Be Loud, Be Proud, Be Positive,” toward all players, coaches, officials and spectators. Thank you for your support and enjoy the game!
