Since the district has been able to safely resume extra-curricular activities, French teacher Mrs. Leona Denne has been working with Bolton students on creative problem-solving. The program, Odyssey of the Mind is an internationally recognized organization which promotes creative problem-solving skills in children and young adults. Each year school children all over the world work in teams to develop resourceful solutions to complex challenges.
In this year’s regional competition, Bolton Central School was one of three schools in WSWHE BOCES Region 6 who chose to compete in NYS Odyssey of the Mind. Their diligence paid off with a first-place rank for their age group in our Region and will be competing with 17 other teams statewide to determine who goes on to the World Competition! Congratulations on a job well done!
