You read that correctly! Bolton Central School pre-kindergarten through third grade students were able to login and watch the first ever Story Time From Space reading live from the International Space Station. Astronaut Shannon Walker read Willow the Water Bear by Houston Kidd to students logged in from around the country.
As part of the presentation, students were able to learn more about the Story Time From Space program and the author of the book. Students also heard from other astronauts about their time in space.
What a great opportunity to see an astronaut while in space and have so many students share such a unique experience safely!
